Build an automation

Create flows that react to messages, leads and events.

Automations run steps automatically when something happens.

Anatomy of an automation

  • Trigger — new lead, keyword received, button tapped, stage changed, appointment booked, form submitted.
  • Steps — send message, wait, ask a question, branch on a condition, assign, tag, update stage, call an API.
  • Exit — the flow ends when steps run out or a goal is reached.

Build one

  1. Open Automations and choose New automation.
  2. Pick a trigger.
  3. Add steps with the + button. Use Branch to split on answers, tags or score.
  4. Publish. It runs for new events from now on.

Monitor

Each automation shows runs, completions and failures. Open a run to see exactly which step each lead reached.
